Bo Vading’s pictorial tribute to Lilla Lidingöbron

This summer, the much-anticipated Lilla Lidingöbron opened fully to pedestrian, cycle and tram traffic. The elegant replacement structure connects Lidingö Island with the city of Stockholm and provides greater zero and low carbon travel options. To commemorate this landmark, local Swedish photographer Bo Vading has published a beautiful pictorial book that captures the bridge’s journey from concept to completion.

This book provides a visual storyline of the project, highlighting key moments in its development and celebrating the people behind its creation. Notably, it includes a special chapter dedicated to the renovation of the ‘Temple of the Winds’ adding depth to the bridge’s story.

Vading’s work marks a significant milestone in documenting the legacy of Lilla Lidingöbron, preserving its story for future generations.
