Kienlesbergbrücke success at Civic Trust Awards
09 March 2020
In the awe-inspiring surroundings of the Imperial War Museum North, Associate and Project Architect Bart Halaczek was delighted to collect an International Civic Trust Award on behalf of the Kienlesbergbrücke design team. After a rigorous two-stage assessment process, the bridge was one of only five non-UK projects honoured with the award.
The Civic Trust Awards not only promote the very best in architecture and the built environment, but pay particular attention to schemes that offer a positive social, cultural, environmental or economic benefit to their local communities. Alongside our partners Krebs + Kiefer and Stadtwerke Ulm, we are therefore thrilled that the bridge has been recognised as just such an exemplar.
“Stunning intervention with a superior and elegant structure and form that has skilfully woven itself in amongst its complex network of neighbours.”
