Design work commences on New City Bridge in Drammen, Norway

We are delighted to be part of the design team that has been awarded the contract for Drammen's New City Bridge, spanning the River Drammen. Alongside Degree of Freedom engineers and sub-consultants Saaha Architects and Asplan Viak, we will be developing the team's winning solution that was selected as part of a parallel study in winter 2018.

The New City Bridge is the central link in the Norwegian city of Drammen, creating the cross-river axis between Strømsø Square and Bragernes Square. In addition, the bridge will create direct access to platform-level at Drammen's main railway station.
