KA Bake Off once again a triumph!

The annual KA Bake Off competition, held earlier this week, took pastry-making to a new level. Bakers were tasked with creating 12 identical mini tarts/quiches/pies, either sweet or savoury. The range of flavours and inspiration - from walnut to goats cheese via raspberry and white chocolate - was a delight and we all revelled in judging (or should that be tasting?) the anonymous entries.

The overwhelming winner - a lightly curried filo parcel - was baked by Sonia Sood. Vicki Strauss came in second and Enea Latxague third. Well done the girls!
