Lilla Lidingöbron Regional Finalist!

We are excited to announce that our Lilla Lidingöbron project is a Regional Finalist in the Civic Trust Awards 2025. Designed in collaboration with engineers Sweco, the £60m Lilla Lidingöbron bridge opened fully earlier this year and plays a vital role in connecting the island of Lidingö to Stockholm's main urban area, in keeping with our ethos to improve connectivity for communities and generate lasting value.

One of Sweden’s longest tramway bridges, the new bridge is already encouraging modal shift to low-carbon transport alternatives. Around 4,000 pedestrians and cyclists rely on the bridge while an anticipated 15,000 passenger journeys will take place daily on the new tram, making a significant contribution to the city of Stockholm's ambitious renewable energy targets.

Regional Finalists are schemes which are of significant merit in their region, contributing to the quality and appearance of the built environment, whilst being sustainable, accessible, and providing a positive civic contribution, and so we are delighted that Lilla Lidingöbron has received this recognition.
