Martin Knight urges 'doing more with less' in industry steel publication

The Steel Construction Institute has released its latest publication, focusing on steel as an effective and efficient material response to the Climate Emergency. Authored by The Steel Bridge Group, 'Spanning to the Future - Structured in Steel' features a foreword by Martin Knight who not only highlights the benefits of designing with steel but - importantly - urges the industry to consider repurpose and reuse before recycling structures.
The publication, which features exemplar case studies including Knight Architects' New Pooley Bridge and Jack Williams Gateway Bridge, can be downloaded for free here.
