One year on: Sam's design legacy to be commemorated on Walnut Bridge

It is one year since we lost our dear friend and colleague Sam White. Father, brother, son, partner, designer, friend... Sam was an incredibly special person to so many people and he is greatly missed.

Within the KA team, it has been difficult over the past 12 months being unable to share project progress and individual highlights with Sam. He took genuine pleasure in people's good news and was always a support to those who needed it. Whilst Sam's loss still weighs upon us, we've been able to take comfort, and also pride, in his extraordinary design legacy and to use his enthusiasm and belief to drive us forward.

Sam's last design was Walnut Bridge in Guildford, now under construction. We are grateful to Guildford Borough Council for allowing Sam's significant contribution to the project to be commemorated with a plaque to be placed on the bridge.
