St Philips Footbridge wins Offsite Construction Award

Congratulations to Hector Beade and Laura Langridge for the success of St Philips Footbridge at this week's Offsite Construction Awards. The striking forked steel beam structure, spanning the River Avon in Bristol, was the winner of the Infrastructure category.

The design team's choice of offsite fabrication was the perfect approach to realise the large, complex and sculptural multi-faceted geometry, enabling the high-quality architectural design that may not otherwise have been deliverable on budget in that site.
