Structural Awards judges shortlist Network Rail FLOW Bridge

The IStructE Structural Awards 2023 shortlist has been announced, and we are delighted that the Network Rail FLOW Bridge features on it! Unique in their approach to entry criteria, these awards are judged through the lenses of Planet, People, Process and Profession, resulting in a single, diverse list of structures reflect the changing responsibilities and requirements of structural engineering worldwide.

Commenting on the innovative FRP system, the judging panel was particularly impressed by the meticulous detail of the modular bridge system, resulting in "an inviting footbridge that meets the stringent requirements of the design brief".
