Thames footbridge takes centre stage at Duck Derby!

The Lions Club of Maidenhead hosted their annual Duck Derby at Ray Mill Island on Sunday 19 June. Attracting families from across the area, the fundraising event featured everything from Fun Fair attractions and Punch & Judy to tombolas and a children’s Duck Hunt.

​The event culminated in the much-anticipated Duck Race, featuring 3,400 plastic ducks on the River Thames used as a novel way to draw the cash-prize raffle! Knight Architects' footbridge spanning this stretch of the river was the perfect spot to enjoy the festivities.
