University of Alberta student bridge design winner revealed

The finale of the Mill Creek Ravine student bridge competition, organized by engineers Fast + Epp and hosted by the University of Alberta's Faculty of Engineering department, took place on campus on 26 April. Following Bart Halaczek's contribution to the mid-term crit in March, Martin Knight was part of the guest judging panel to decide the winning team.

Afterwards, he and Paul Fast each delivered thought-provoking talks exploring the essence of purpose in design and counter-conventional design respectively.
