Walnut Footbridge secures place on Guildford Design Awards 2023 shortlist

Walnut Footbridge, a replacement structure connecting the east and west of the town, has been shortlisted in the Public Realm category of the Guildford Design Awards 2023. Responding to the category's criteria of stimulating and delighting its users, the footbridge was designed to cater to the growing demand of pedestrians and cyclists as well as providing a feature soffit for towpath users alongside the River Wey. We look forward to the winners' presentation evening later this autumn.
